Since 2003, I have provided psychotherapy and mental health counseling services to adults from all walks of life. My experience ranges from a group psychotherapy practice, residential and outpatient counseling clinics, and crisis centers.

Why I chose to be a psychotherapist

I chose psychotherapy as a profession based on my experience and understanding of inter-generational trauma: noticing how maladaptive behaviors often are unknowingly passed down to us through family and culture. Having these patterns come into our conscious mind offers us the opportunity to break them and find healthier ways of managing our lives. Growing up first generation in a French speaking household has also shaped my understanding of family, culture, inter-generational patterns, and most importantly, the experience of “living in two worlds.”
