Recovery from Narcissistic & Emotional Abuse:
Gaslighting, coercive control, psychological manipulation, family dysfunction and estrangement, toxic relational environments, power imbalances, complex trauma (CPTSD), emotional invalidation, smear campaigns, family rupture.
Navigating Cross-Cultural Life:
Expat and immigrant adjustment, identity transitions after relocation, disconnection from home culture or sense of belonging, balancing conflicting family expectations across languages, isolation when support networks fall away, dual citizenship challenges, international mobility stress.
I am French-American and have over twenty years of clinical experience supporting individuals navigating narcissistic abuse, relational trauma, complex family systems, and cross-cultural identity transitions.
My work focuses on helping people make sense of what has happened to them and find more peace and joy in life—this is what continues to fuel my practice.
I tend to see psychological experience in terms of patterns, and I enjoy helping people connect the dots between past experiences, present struggles, and future possibilities. Many of the people I work with are thoughtful, reflective, and self-aware, yet find that certain relational or emotional patterns can feel surprisingly persistent despite significant insight and effort.
Psychotherapy offers a different kind of time—one where slowing down becomes possible, and where careful attention to lived experience can lead to a clearer understanding of what shapes emotional life and wellbeing.
As someone who has also navigated narcissistic abuse and cross-cultural identity dynamics personally, I bring both clinical and lived understanding to this work. This includes awareness of how easily these experiences can be misunderstood or minimized, even within helping systems.
We work together to understand your experiences, make sense of repeating patterns, and create more clarity, choice, and direction in your life.
